At the Sandfield Industrial Estate, the client required to know the exact locations of the surface water and foul drainage systems around the industrial estate.
They were looking for a drainage company that can provide geographical surveys and AutoCAD surveying which is why Drain 247 had been appointed.
This project was completed over a 2-day period and our engineers were first called to attend the site to carry out geographical surveying to accurately locate and identify all of the drainage systems around the estate.
Using the latest GIS mapping equipment, we identified the locations, depths, invert levels, and directions of the drainage systems.
With the information gathered, our engineers collated the data and sent it directly from site to the office for the data to be checked and reviewed.
The owners and developers also required an AutoCAD plan of the data.
Our engineers transferred the drainage data onto an updated AutoCAD plan for the client which will be beneficial for them with future development work or upgrades to the building structure.
